London’s Bond street was alive Monday night at the private viewing of Chanel’s new flagship store.  Designed by Peter Marino, the store is described to perfectly capture Chanel’s classic and luxurious style, from hand-blown Venetian glass sculptures to beige and gold decor reminemiasant of Chanel’s perfume bottle.

Thandie Newton was in attendance looking as radiant as ever wearing a mini dress from Chanel’s fall 2013 collection, perfectly accessorized with the Chanel lego clutch. Thandie partied the night with fashion’s elite, including Chanel Ambassadors and personal friends, Laura Bailey and Kay Montano.

The Telegraph spoke to Thandie about her love of Chanel.  Did you know she owned her first item of Chanel at the age of 12, a used Chanel No. 5 perfume given to her by her cousin?   She goes on to talk about her favorite Chanel garment, a pink coat she got 12 years ago and a homemade t-shirt with the Chanel logo given to her by a crew member on the set of “The Truth About Charlie.”
